This past weekend, the band traveled to Branson where they performed for a panel of judges and earned 2nd place in their division. Even more impressive, they ranked 3rd overall out of seven high school bands competing. 👏 What makes this accomplishment even more special is that nearly one-third of our band is made up of 8th graders performing alongside schools made up entirely of 9th-12th grade students. Their hard work, dedication and musicianship were on full display all weekend long. Congratulations to our student musicians and directors on an incredible performance! #VPPride #LimitlessLearning

Video here: www.vpschools.org/2026impact There were plenty of smiles, laughter and a few tears as members of the VPHS Class of 2026 opened letters written by families and loved ones before graduation. 💙🧡 Each note was filled with encouragement, memories, pride and reminders of just how far these students have come. Moments like this remind us that graduation is more than a ceremony. It’s a celebration of the people, support and experiences that helped shape each student’s journey along the way. Class of 2026, your Valley Park family is so proud of you and excited for what comes next. 🎓 #VPPride #VPHSClassOf2026

Three Valley Park High School students have been selected to attend Girls State this summer! Kate Wilson '27, Alivia Robison '27 and Joy Irishura '27 will attend Girls State, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary. This is a leadership and citizenship program where students step into the roles of government officials. Over the course of the week, they build their own city, county and state governments, run elections and learn firsthand how our system works. This incredible opportunity is fully funded by the generosity of the Valley Park Lions Club, whose continued support helps our students explore leadership beyond the classroom.
We’re proud of these students for representing Valley Park and can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make! 💙🧡 #VPPride #OneCommunity #LimitlessLearning
