South Tech’s STAR Program celebrates students and staff who go above and beyond through kindness, hard work, and the positive impact they make each day. This weekend, students and staff from the VPHS Student Council and Best Buddies Club took the Polar Plunge. Even though the weather was quite nice, Creve Coeur Lake was still a balmy 50 degrees! Together, we raised over $1,800 to benefit the Special Olympics of Missouri. Thank you to everyone who donated and supported us! #VPPride

A huge thank you to Dunham Sales and Service in St. Louis City for their generous donation of four engines for next year’s Small Engine class. Because of their support, our students will have even more hands on opportunities to learn, practice, and build real world skills. Partnerships like this make a direct impact in the classroom and help prepare our students for future careers. We’re grateful for community businesses that invest in Limitless Learning and believe in the power of public education. 💙🧡

Last night’s Board of Education meeting was packed with reasons to celebrate. 🎉We honored our Athletes of the Month, Aubrey Dibble '26 for Girls Basketball and Rose Hagan '27 for Cheerleading, and recognized our VPES VIP Students, Abrar '36, Audrey '37 and Xander '38. Our Spanish classes wrapped up their foods unit in the best way possible… with a cooking day! 👩‍🍳🌮 Students made tortillas from scratch, whipped up homemade guacamole, and even treated themselves to fried ice cream. ¡Delicioso! 😋 #VPPride

Last night was all about celebrating an incredible group of seniors. 🏀💙🧡 We honored our senior basketball players Tim, Owen, Brayden, Blake, Gavin, Peyton and Aubrey, along with our senior cheerleader, Jermisha. We also celebrated a huge milestone as Tim Coleman scored his 1,500th career point. It was a night full of memories, gratitude and serious Hawk Pride. Our Graphic Design class participated in a photo contest with St. Charles Parks and Recreation, and we’re proud to share that Aiden Papan and Blake Whitney were selected as winners! 🎉Aiden earned the LEARN category and Blake earned ICONS, with their photos recognized for the powerful stories they tell. The History of Slavery in St. Louis and Missouri traveling exhibit, created by the National Park Service’s Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, helps students explore local history and how it fits into the broader story of our nation. The exhibit looks at how historical events shaped our region and provides important context for understanding the past.
Mr. Keough learned about this exhibit while attending the Missouri Council for History Education Conference in St. Louis and brought the experience back to his Civil War class. Opportunities like this allow students to engage with history in a meaningful way, building knowledge, perspective and critical thinking skills. #VPPride

Students in our Criminal Law course wrapped up the semester with a mock trial that brought the justice system to life. As a capstone project, they stepped into courtroom roles as attorneys, witnesses and legal teams, tackling serious cases like first-degree murder and criminal hazing. With faculty and staff serving as the jury, students analyzed evidence, built legal strategies and presented their cases like true professionals. ❄️🎨 Our Art II and Printmaking students took their creativity on the road! Yesterday they headed to Twin Oaks City Hall from to paint a Winter Wonderland across the building’s windows.
