Graduation at Valley Park is more than a ceremony. It’s the celebration of a journey years in the making.
For many members of the Class of 2026, graduation wasn’t simply the end of high school. It marked the final chapter of a story that began right here on the same campus as preschoolers, kindergarteners and elementary students.
Valley Park is one of the few districts where students often grow up together in one place, surrounded by familiar faces and a community that supports them every step of the way. Staff members have watched these graduates learn to read, perform in concerts, compete in athletics, discover passions and grow into confident young adults ready for what comes next.
The Class of 2026 leaves behind an impressive legacy of achievement, leadership and perseverance. Throughout their time at Valley Park, these students have earned awards, served their community, explored career pathways, challenged themselves academically and made lasting contributions to campus life.
During the 92nd Commencement Ceremony, students reflected on lessons learned, memories made and the opportunities ahead. As graduates crossed the stage, they joined generations of Valley Park alumni while beginning new journeys in college, careers, military service and beyond.
The Class of 2026 is a special group of students. They’ve earned more than $5.4 million in scholarship dollars. Fifty-eight percent qualified for A+ Scholarships and and 62 percent earned a WorkKeys certificate. Seven students received the Seal of Biliteracy, four earned Bright Flight Scholarships, and together they completed 357 college credit hours through dual credit and dual enrollment courses.
No matter where life takes them next, one thing remains true: the Class of 2026 will always have a home at Valley Park. Congratulations, graduates. Your Valley Park family is proud of you and excited to see the impact you make on the world.
