Valley Park is proud to celebrate Dr. Paige Overman, one of our dedicated first grade teachers, as our Teacher Proud Tuesday awardee. Known for her collaborative spirit and heart for young learners, Dr. Overman works closely with colleagues to lend a hand and share her expertise.

One colleague said, "Dr. Overman is a shining example of what it means to be a caring educator and teammate. Her classroom is full of positivity, creativity, and energy that makes students excited to learn each day. She goes above and beyond to support her students not only academically but personally, taking time to build meaningful relationships with both children and their families. Always approachable and ready to jump in, Dr. Overman is someone our school community truly counts on and is better because of."

Additionally, a parent stated, "Dr. Overman is the kindest person and teacher. She keeps things fun for the kids and makes going to school fun for our daughter. She also takes an interest in their lives outside of school with weekend updates and is so easy to communicate with as a parent. "

Dr. Overman’s impact is felt far beyond her classroom walls. Through her kindness, dedication, and genuine care for students and families, she helps create the supportive, joyful learning environment that makes Valley Park such a special place. On the second Tuesday of each month, Missouri school districts will recognize a Teacher Proud Tuesday honoree for making a difference in the lives of students.
