At Valley Park School District, our vision of “One Community, One Campus, Limitless Learning” extends far beyond the classroom. This week, we brought that vision to life in a colorful way as members of our Golden Club gathered for a special Georgia O’Keeffe-inspired paint night!

Hosted in our newly renovated elementary art classroom, the event welcomed Golden Club members back to campus for an evening of creativity, connection and community. Under the guidance of elementary art teacher Mrs. Mary McKelvey, participants explored their artistic talents while creating their own paintings inspired by the bold colors and beautiful floral designs of renowned American artist Georgia O’Keeffe.

The evening was about more than painting. It was an opportunity to open our doors, showcase one of the incredible learning spaces made possible through Prop B and invite community members to experience firsthand the opportunities available to Valley Park students.

Our Golden Club members may not sit in our classrooms every day, but they are an important part of the Valley Park family. Events like this remind us that learning doesn't stop at graduation, creativity has no age limit and our campus is a place where generations can come together.

One Community means building meaningful connections with the people who support our schools.

One Campus means creating welcoming spaces where students, families and community members feel they belong.

Limitless Learning means recognizing that opportunities to explore, create and grow are always available.

A special thank you to elementary art teacher Mrs. Mary McKelvey for sharing her time, creativity and passion for art with our Golden Club members. Her enthusiasm and welcoming spirit helped make the evening such a wonderful experience. We also thank our Golden Club members for joining us and continuing to be such an important part of our Valley Park community.

Events like this bring our vision of One Community, One Campus, Limitless Learning to life, creating opportunities for connection, creativity and learning throughout our community.
