Summer construction is in full swing! The ECC's flooring removal is complete, the middle school floor removal is almost done too and painting is well underway in both buildings! Our elementary gym floor has a stunning new look! We've removed fence posts & irrigation work on the baseball field starts soon! Congratulations to our students who successfully completed CPR and First Aid Training through the American Red Cross! 🎉 A special thank you to Mrs. Puett, the Principles of Biomed teacher who organized the training. 👏🙌 These students will be able to take this micro-credential with them when they graduate from VPHS. The Missouri Seal of Biliteracy and Distinguished Missouri Seal of Biliteracy is awarded to graduating high school students in districts with a DESE-approved program, who have demonstrated achievement in English, a Language Other Than English and sociocultural competence. All Missouri students studying any of the world’s languages are potential Seal candidates. Congratulations to our awardees! #VPPride

This year, the Class of 2024 had 37% earn A plus honors. The A+ Scholarship Program is a merit-based scholarship that provides scholarship funds to eligible graduates of A+ designated high schools who attend participating public community colleges or vocational/technical schools, or certain private two-year vocational/technical schools. Congratulations to our A+ program honorees!

Today is School Lunch Hero Day! Thank you to our cafeteria crews who serve our kids with a smile each day! A special thanks to Kim Jaudes, Food Service Director, who keeps the whole thing running! So far, this year, they have served over 58,000 lunches, 17,000 breakfasts, and 5,000 extra entrees to students and staff. Thank you for not only making our school food nutritious, but you make eating healthy delicious! #schoollunchheroes #VPPride
