Starting 5/29 Champions Church and TWIGS will begin serving lunches for all VP students throughout the summer. Meals will be served M-W-F from 11:30 am-12:30 pm at 3 locations. Lunches are free for children 18 and under. Thanks to our community partners! #VPPride #OneCommunity

Today is School Lunch Hero Day! Thank you to our cafeteria crews who serve our kids with a smile each day! A special thanks to Kim Jaudes, Food Service Director, who keeps the whole thing running! So far, this year, they have served over 58,000 lunches, 17,000 breakfasts, and 5,000 extra entrees to students and staff. Valley Park Night at the Ballpark is back again, and everyone is invited! This is a fundraiser for the elementary music room as well as a chance for our 4th and 5th graders and Middle and High School music department students of the 2024-2025 school year to sing on the baseball field at Busch Stadium. The game is Sept. 8, 2024 at 1:15pm. A form has been sent home with all elementary students. Ticket orders are due May 17th. Last week, amidst the storms, our flagpole rope broke, leaving the flagpole unusable. Our Valley Park Fire Department kindly dispatched their truck to assist in running new strings for our flagpole while also using the opportunity to train an employee on the ladder. Thank you @VPProfessionalFirefighters for being such great community partners! #VPPride

Did you know that every junior at VPHS take the ACT for free? Today, all juniors took the ACT at school. Our freshmen took the PreACT 8/9 and our sophomores took the PreACT. Our seniors took the WorkKeys assessment in the fall. VPSD is always dedicated to providing equal opportunities for student success as well as limitless learning opportunities each day.
