We had so much to celebrate at last night’s Board of Education meeting! From recognizing our Athletes of the Month, Charley Perkins and Owen Caskey, to honoring our VIP Students of VPHS, Connor Buechel and Brady Roderman, the evening was filled with pride. We also celebrated a true hero among us, Bill Been, one of our incredible SSD paras, who saved a student from choking and provided care afterward. Moments like these remind us how special our Valley Park community truly is. #VPPride #OneCommunity

Today, the Valley Park School District came together to honor and remember the events of 9/11. Students and staff gathered at the flagpole for a solemn ceremony. Mr. Turner and Mr. Neal, both veterans, were recognized for their service, with Mr. Neal sharing a moving reflection on the day that changed our nation forever. The choir performed the National Anthem, followed by the playing of Taps by Kennedy King. The ceremony offered a powerful moment of reflection and unity, reminding us of the importance of remembrance, resilience and the strength of community. #VPPride #NeverForget
