A group of 25 Missouri educators teamed up with legal experts to explore democracy, the rule of law and the U.S. judicial system. Through hands-on learning—like courtroom visits, case studies and a moot court, they gained fresh strategies to bring civics to life in the classroom. Our Valley Park High School social studies teacher, Emily Krumm, participated last month. “The StreetLaw workshop was one of the most impactful PD experiences of my career,” said Emily. We had so much to celebrate at our last Board of Education meeting! 🎉Our incredible middle school choir earned a 1 rating—the highest possible score—at the St. Louis County Large Group Choral Festival! 🎶We also gave a big shoutout to Jermisha Lewis '26 and Isabel Inman '26, who qualified for State in vocal performance—an amazing achievement! 👏Our standout high school students were recognized in our Student Spotlights for their hard work and dedication and our leadership students stopped by to personally thank our Board members for their continued support during Board of Education Recognition Month. 💙 We’re proud of our students, staff and board members who make our district shine every day. #VPPride #ThankYouBoard

🎉 Congratulations, Valley Park High School Student Council! 🎉 We’re proud to announce that VPHS Student Council has been awarded the Missouri Association of Student Councils (MASC) Honor Council Silver Award! 🏅The award was presented at the 2025 MASC State Convention hosted by Poplar Bluff High School. This recognition highlights our council’s outstanding involvement at the local, Gateway District, and state levels. Out of all schools in Missouri, only 66 student councils met the high standards to receive this honor—and we’re thrilled to be one of them! #VPPride

Congratulations to our Middle School Choir for earning a 1 rating—the highest possible score—at the St. Louis County Large Group Choral Festival! This is the first time in four years that Valley Park has taken a Middle School Choir to Festival. Starting with only 6 students, the choir now has 28 incredible singers who absolutely crushed it on stage! #VPPride
